***NEW 30MPH SPEED LIMIT INTRODUCTION - A38 LANDRAKE AND TIDEFORD***

National Highways are introducing a 30mph speed limit through the villages of LANDRAKE and TIDEFORD on the A38. New signage will be going up over the next couple of weeks and painted roundels placed on the road surface. The extents of the order are exactly the same as the current 40mph limit.

The order will be live on **20th AUGUST 2025**

Fixed speed cameras are being installed in both villages to ensure the safety of residents, an issue championed by the Safe38 campaign.

We will be enforcing from this date and will publish a further reminder nearer go live. Sat nav systems will take time to reflect the new limit, so please share this far and wide.

The aim here is provide clear warning to ensure that the numbers detected speeding are significantly reduced.
